Terms and Conditions of the Combo Ski e-shop

1. Introductory provisions

1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the rights and obligations between the operator of the Combo Ski online store (hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”) and customers (hereinafter referred to as the “Buyer”) when selling products, in particular snowshoes, skis and ice spikes (hereinafter referred to as the “Goods”).

2. Orders and conclusion of the purchase contract

2.1. The Buyer orders Goods using the order form on the website www.comboski.cz.

2.2. By sending the order, the Buyer confirms that they are familiar with these Terms and Conditions, agrees with them, and is aware of the obligation to pay the purchase price for the ordered Goods.

2.3. The contract between the Seller and the Buyer is created by the Seller’s confirmation of the order, which is sent to the Buyer’s email address.

 

3. Price and payment terms

3.1. Prices listed in the e-shop are final, and include VAT. The shipping price is displayed separately according to the delivery method chosen by the Buyer.

3.2. The Buyer may pay for the Goods in the following ways:

• online, using a credit card,
• by bank transfer,
• cash on delivery of the Goods (for an additional fee).

3.3. The invoice for the Goods is sent electronically to the specified email address after payment, or together with the shipment.

 

4. Terms of delivery

4.1. The Seller delivers the Goods to the address specified by the Buyer in the order, through the contractual carrier. Delivery times vary according to the current availability of Goods and transport conditions.

4.2. The Buyer is informed about the estimated delivery date when confirming the order. The usual delivery time is within 5 working days.

4.3. The Buyer is obliged to inspect the shipment upon receipt. If they find damage to the package, they must immediately notify the carrier and write a report.

 

5. Withdrawal from contract

5.1. The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of receipt of the Goods.

5.2. If the Buyer withdraws from the contract, the are obliged to return the Goods to the Seller at their own expense within 14 days of the notification of withdrawal.

5.3. The Seller shall refund the purchase price to the Buyer within 14 days of receipt of the returned Goods.

 

6. Complaints and warranty

6.1. All Goods purchased in the Combo Ski e-shop are guaranteed for a period of 24 months, unless otherwise specified for specific Goods.

6.2. Complaints are made via email at info@comboski.cz or in writing at the operator’s address.

6.3. The Seller is obliged to settle the complaint within 30 days of receiving it. The Buyer shall be informed of the result of the complaint by email.

 

7. Personal data protection

7.1. The Seller processes the Buyer’s personal data in accordance with applicable law, and only for the purpose of performing the contract and communicating with the Customer.

7.2. The Buyer has the right to access, correct or delete their personal data and other rights under the applicable legislation.

 

8. Final provisions

8.1. The Seller reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions. Changes are effective from the date of their publication on the e-shop website.

 

9. Supplement to the Terms and Conditions for the “Combo Ski Tryout” service

This supplement to the Terms and Conditions applies to the “Combo Ski Tryout” service provided by Comboski s.r.o. and is an integral part of the Terms and Conditions available at www.comboski.cz/en/terms-and-conditions/.

9.1. General provisions

1. This supplement regulates the mutual rights and obligations between the lessor (Comboski s.r.o.) and the lessee (customer) when providing the “Combo Ski Tryout” service.

2. The supplement is processed in accordance with Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended, and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection.

9.2. Conclusion of a lease agreement

1. The lease agreement is concluded when the lessor confirms the lessee’s order sent through the website www.comboski.cz/en/.

2. The order confirmation will be delivered electronically to the email address specified in the order.

3. The lessee is obliged to provide true and complete information when ordering.

9.3. Subject of lease

1. The subject of the lease are products and accessories of Combo Ski, hiking poles, and other equipment offered by the lessor.

2. The lessor undertakes to hand over the rented equipment complete and in the condition necessary for its use.

3. The Lessee is liable for damage caused by a breach of obligations under these terms and conditions.

9.4. Order and payment

1. The lease price includes all related fees, including shipping costs for returning the rented equipment via the Zásilkovna delivery service.

2. The lease price does not include delivery (handover) charges for the equipment borrowed using a transport service.

3. Reservation is confirmed after the payment of rent and the refundable deposit. Payment can be made by bank transfer or online by card.

4. Reservations can only be made by persons over the age of 18.

5. The refundable deposit will be refunded within 3 working days after the return of the equipment, unless damage is caused to the equipment according to Article 9.7.

9.5. Cancellation and change of reservation

1. The lessee may cancel the reservation free of charge until the leased equipment has been handed over to the transport service or collected in person.

2. Once the equipment has already been handed over to the transport service, an amount equivalent to 20% of the service price (the refundable deposit is not included as the service price) is charged for administrative costs. In such a case, it is a condition that the lessee does not take receipt of or use the equipment.

9.6. Collection and return of rental equipment

1. The equipment will be handed over at Nademlejnská 600/1, Prague 9-Hloubětín, Czech Republic, or via the Zásilkovna delivery service.

2. The return of the equipment will take place either in person at the same address or by its submission at the relevant Zásilkovna delivery point using the assigned shipping label.

3. In the case of the handover or return of equipment at Nademlejnská 600/1, Prague 9-Hloubětín, Czech Republic, prior telephone arrangement with the operator is required for the date and time of handover.

4. The lessee is obliged to return the rented equipment the day after the last day of the reservation.

5. The lessee shall not be liable for any loss in transit during the equipment’s return through the Zásilkovna delivery service.

6. The lessee is responsible for the correct packaging of the rented equipment in the original packaging, so as to prevent damage to the equipment during transport.

9.7. Obligations of the lessee

1. The lessee is obliged to comply with the relevant legal provisions and instructions set out in the attached User Manual and Warning.

2. Rental equipment is not allowed to be used under the influence of alcohol or other narcotics.

3. In the case of the loss of equipment, the lessee will be deducted 100% of the refundable deposit.

4. In the event of damage to the equipment due to improper handling, the lessee will be deducted a part of the refundable deposit to the value of the damage to the equipment.

9.8. Final provisions of the supplement to the Terms and Conditions for the “Combo Ski Tryout” service

1. The lessor is not liable for damage to health or property incurred in connection with the use of the rented equipment.

2. This supplement is effective on 1 November 2025 and applies to all reservations made after that date.

3. This supplement does not supersede, but supplements the other parts of the Terms and Conditions, provided they do not conflict with one another.

 

These terms and conditions are valid from 1.11.2024.
